I wish you all a happy New Year! I walked into 2013 with a positive feeling. Life is good with your loved ones by your side.
I'm sure you too have set some goals. This is how you and I can try to stick to our New Year's resolutions:
It's all about the meaning!
Think about why you came up with the intention or goal. What's the meaning behind it? Is it really that important?
I want to devote more time to this blog. Is that what I really want? Yes I do. This blog is important to me. Sharing my creative endeavours, making new friendships and getting inspired by blogs gives me so much energy and creativity! Starting this blog was one of the best things I did in 2012. It made my life more meaningful.
Stick to a few goals! Be realistic.
I had a long list of good intentions. And I wanted to achieve most of my goals before Spring. Besides blogging I was going to:
- eat healthier
- talk a walk every day
- repaint the doors downstairs
- redecorate the guest bedroom
- keep my house 200% clean and organized
I'll be glad if I get to number two. This list was just not realistic. I'll skip the intentions that are not really meaningful.
What are your good intentions for 2013?

Happy New Year Friend
ReplyDeleteI so love goals, but me myself never keep them.
Besides for the one I started almost two years ago and that is my blog.
Not always prim or creative.
But somewhere I try to make others smile.
It's one goal I really try to keep.
And it's free.
I am blessed with your bog friendship and so many.
Woolie hugs & love

DeleteHappy New Year, Goedele! So glad you started a blog as I really enjoy visiting!
ReplyDeleteHi Goedele-Happy New Year! My goal for this year is to be try to be more upbeat around Brian...he needs to know I'm stronger than I was in 2012. I also have a goal of not wasting as much time in the Spring...I need to work harder in the Spring so it won't be as crazy later in the year. :)hugs...Jan
ReplyDeleteHi Goedele...oh my 'good intentions' - I have lots of them but some just don't get done.
ReplyDeleteBut if I make it through a day and not hurt anyone with words or thoughts then I think I have accomplished something good. It's the best I can because all the other things just don't matter.
Blessings in this wonderful new year 2013
Karen
