1. My favorite flower is the sunflower. It was also our wedding theme.
2. I started a blog when my hand was in a plaster, I couldn't drive a car, I was sitting at home bored... I love blogging! I'm thankful for having broken my finger. :-)
3. I started my career as a researcher and a teacher at the undergraduate level. But life has taken me down different paths since that point. I wonder what the future will bring.
4. I grew up in the nineties, with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, ...
5. My oldest son started playing soccer this week. I have to get used to this new routine. Practice, games, swimming lessons for both children, ... I'm struggling with it. How do other mothers do this? How about investing in a mug and some good books? :-)
Can I give you a sixth fact? My husband just asked me to come outside, because we could see the International Space Station in the air tonight. I saw it, but I showed more interest in the poor scared hedgehog on our driveway. Heehee.
